Rasheed Hassan is a historian of the nineteenth and twentieth century Nigeria. His research cuts across thematic areas of economic, social and crime histories of colonial and post-colonial Nigeria. Rasheed´s current work focuses on the social history of disability in colonial Nigeria, a field that investigates how the people living with disabilities navigate colonial institions through every day practices and survival.
