Bio

I am a Colombian Anthropologist with MA degrees in both History and Education. My doctoral research connects the intellectual, political, and religious history of Latin America during the Cold War. Focusing on the transnational mobilization of Catholic students, my research traces the rise of a young Latin American Catholic intelligentsia who partook in galvanizing theological and political transformations within Social-Christian thought by engaging both in ideological debates and grassroots activism in support of Liberationist projects throughout the region. I am a member of the Latin American Interdisciplinary Initiative on Religion and Secretary of The Digital Archive of Religion in Latin America at FIU. https://fiu.academia.edu/SandraLondono
