Degrees and Institutions: B.A in Anthropology/Sociology, Centre College of Kentucky, M.A in Latin American Studies, University of Florida, M.S in Information Studies, The University of Texas at Austin 

Advisor: Dr. Julio Capó, Jr. 

Katie L. Coldiron is a third year-doctoral student in the FIU Department of History. She also works as the Outreach Program Manager for the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC) at FIU Libraries. Her research interests include Cuba and the Cuban Diaspora, Colombia, South Florida, intellectual history, and the Cold War in Latin America.
