Alfred is a student double-majoring in economics and history at FIU. His interest in history aligns with this, as his preferred areas of study involve economic and legal history and the 19th century, although he possesses a wide range of general historical knowledge of most cultures and periods. Alfred has a genuine passion for teaching history, wanting others to better understand our collective past and the impact it has on the world we live in today. He believes that studying history and economics together imparts a nuanced understanding of what motivates human behavior, and consequently, his hope is to continue studying both of these subjects in his graduate studies.
