Richard Denis

Bio

I study Atlantic History with focus on Latin America. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from FIU and a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Florida. My dissertation will examine the public sphere and the politics of print media in twentieth-century Cuba. I am a 2019 recipient of the Tinker Foundation Field Research Grant and a 2020 recipient of the Goizueta Graduate Pre-Prospectus Fellowship.
