Bio

I am a doctoral student with diverse academic and professional backgrounds. I hold a Master of Divinity and a Master of Mass Communications. For more than a decade, I worked as news producer for Telemundo and CNN, earning a National Daytime Emmy Award in 2013 for my work detailing the election of Pope Francis. In the Atlantic History program, I study Latin American liberation theology movements of the 1960s and 1970s, hoping to delve into the ways in which these movements have influenced the region’s social and political spheres into the twenty-first century.
