DOHGSA and the Department of History is pleased to present our Colloquium in Atlantic History as Dr. Friedman discusses the challenges of oral history in the context of her new book The Seven, A Family Holocaust Story (Wayne State University Press, 2017). It is the first in a series of talks this year on the theme “Migration and Memory.” Dr. Ellen Friedman is a Professor of English and Holocaust and Genocide Studies at the College of New Jersey and the title of her talk is Writing About Other People's Memories.
